All applicants must have a clear understanding of an emergent curriculum as well as the ability to implement a blended curriculum. Teachers must have experience working with children of all ages, and the ability to meet all children's needs. Lead Teacher Qualifications: - Lead teachers must hold a Bachelor's Degree or qualify for the Child Development Teacher Permit; and have a minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Lead teachers are responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences for children ages 24 months to pre-k that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children within a safe and healthy learning environment.
- They encourage the involvement of families and support the development of positive relationships between all members of the Piper community.
- Must be fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
- Lead teachers must consistently participate in direct interaction with children, serve as faculty for professional development activities and community-based events, and be responsible for the items listed below and any others as assigned by members of the Administration.
- Teachers report to members of Administration and Administrative Support Staff , as directed throughout the policies of this job description.

Requirements:
- BA degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field.
- Qualify for the Master Teacher Permit.
- 3 Years of Classroom Teaching Experience.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, squat, or climb for extended periods of time.
Compensation: $28 to $32 per hour; based on education and experience.
Hours: Monday through Friday; Flexible schedule between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
